The Disneyland Paris Halloween 2018 is amazing, but with so much to do just how do you make the most of your visit? My Top 5 tips for Halloween 2018 will help you out with that, I’ll be giving you the tips to get the best position at the shows, parades, the best snacks to try and much, much more. In just a few short minutes, you’ll be the Halloween master!
1. Plan your parade!
You’ve probably heard that there’s a very special Halloween parade at Disneyland Paris this year! Mickey’s Halloween Celebration is much more than a parade though, it’s also a show on 4 separate stages. If you’re in the parks for a few days then you’re in luck! You’ll be able to watch both the parades and shows in multiple places. But if you’re in more of a rush then this handy guide should help you see your favourite characters.
The first parade begins at the gates by “it’s a small world”, then runs down by castle stage before splitting at Central Plaza for the show stops. The second parade begins in Town Square and then comes up Main Street to, again, split at Central Plaza.
Note: The parade does not do the Town Square loop that you see on the main daily parade.
2. Know your Villains spot
The It’s Good to be Bad with the Disney Villains show runs multiple times daily. After each performance, the Villains do a meet and greet for all guests for 25 minutes. Whilst you may well be tempted to watch the show from the stage and then move to the meet and greet spots, it’s better to claim your spot before the show so that you are front of the character queue. This way, you might even be able to fit in two meets within the 20 minute period. This little guide should help you plan your perfect spot.
3. Stay Around at Night
It might be Autumn, the cold nights might be starting to set in, but Halloween comes alive for the evening period. Across Disneyland Park you can enjoy the orange glow of the night time lights. Walk down Main Street USA and enjoy the spooky festivities of Town Square, then wander down the street and marvel at the twinkling lights of the Halloween garlands. The whole thing is magical and exciting. Then, turn down into Frontierland and be enchanted by the bright lights, colours and sounds of the Dia de los Muertos.
4. Enjoy tasty treats
Halloween of course means that you’ll find fun snacks across the park. In Market House Deli you can try the Mummy Hot Dog, or a few of the special cake treats. Make sure you check out the snack carts and you’ll see various goodies in each including things like biscuits, lollypops, drinks, popcorn and much more.
In the Lucky Nugget Saloon, Silver Spur Steakhouse and Annette’s Diner a special Halloween menu is available.
5. Trick or Treat, Meet and Greet
Halloween is the time of year for Meet and Greets. You’ll find not only Disney Villains, but also some of your favourite characters in fun Halloween outfits. The best part? They are all over the park! If you want to meet Mariachi Mickey and Minnie, head to Frontierland; for Hook and Smee, Adventureland is for you; a fan of Alice in Wonderland and the Cheshire Cat? Then head down to Fantasyland.
Check the park programme for full times of the Meet and Greets – and as it’s Halloween, don’t forget to collect your treat bag of Haribo!
There’s so much to do in Disneyland Paris this October, have a wonderful trip if you’re going out there!
