Construction work has once again resumed at Disneyland Paris following its suspension due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Work has resumed on Disney’s Hotel New York: The Art of Marvel (2020), Disney Junior Dream Factory (2020), Cars: Route 66 Road Trip (2020), and Avengers Campus (2021). To celebrate, Disneyland Paris also shared a photo of the progress on Cars: Route 66 Road Trip:

Commenting on the resumption, Disneyland Paris President Natacha Rafalski said:
“As we celebrate the reopening of Disneyland Paris, I’m very happy to welcome back our Cast Members, Imagineers and contractors to restart construction work on exciting new experiences to entertain and delight guests for years to come”
New regulations on building sites have been created by the French Government, which are being followed by Disneyland Paris, and include increased Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as face masks, and physical distancing of 1 metre minimum.
David Wilson, Site Portfolio Executive for Walt Disney Imagineering Paris said:
“We are thrilled to gradually ramp up these construction sites and do what we are passionate about – creating new Disney magic for guests to enjoy. We are grateful for the continued dialogue with French authorities, as well as for the unwavering trust of our industry partners and vendors who have proven to be resilient and agile, enabling us to progress on other aspects of these new attractions and experiences over the past several months.”
2020 and 2021 are looking set to be exciting times for Disneyland Paris fans, and we’ll be there every step of the way to watch on in excitement.
