Disneyland Paris reopening 15th July

Disneyland Paris has announced the beginning of its phased reopening starting on Wednesday 15th July 2020.

As the parks capacity will be greatly reduced, guests will need to make reservations online in order to access the parks online prior to arrival onsite.

Then, upon arrival all guests aged 11 and above will be required to wear a face covering for their entire time in the parks. Guests will not need to undergo temperature screenings.

Social distancing will be required of guests in public spaces, in France this distance is set at 1 metre, these distances will be marked via multi-lingual signs placed on the floor in key areas. Shops and restaurants will operate a strict one-way system and will close upon capacity being hit. Reservations will be required for some experiences, including for dining.

There will be no shows or parades (including Disney Illuminations and Disney Stars on Parade), character meet and greets will be modified to become more like selfie spots at a safe distance, as well as some new and unique ways to see characters.

Guests will be encouraged to wash hands, use hand sanitiser (which will be available in all locations in the resort) and take extra care.

This is an exciting time for Disneyland Paris, the news of the reopening is something that many have been waiting for; whilst your next visit to Disneyland Paris may well be a little bit different, there’s still lots of magic to be had!
