Precisely one month to the day since Disneyland Paris reopened, the spectacular Lion King: Rhythm of the Pridelands show has also returned to the Frontierland Theatre.
Social Distancing Changes
In order to comply with the new Disneyland Paris health and safety rules, a few adjustments are in operation in order to reserve your place and within the theatre. Lineberty must now be used in order to guarantee your place in the theatre, without a reservation there is no entry. Reservations for each show open two hours prior to the performance.
Once inside the theatre, guests must leave one seat distance between you and other parties. This only applies side-to-side and now row by row.
A more spectacular show
The show has been reworked based on guest feedback from last year. A whole new lighting arrangement is in operation, designed by Tim Lutkin (Mickey and the Magician, Marvel: Super Heroes United, Frozen: A Musical Celebration).
Additionally, many scenes feature new choreography brings a heightened intensity to the performance, something Show Director Christophe Leclerc has mentioned in his pre-show interviews.
Show Times
There are 4 performances of Lion King: Rhythm of the Pridelands daily:
12:30
13:30
16:05
17:05
Can’t make it to Disneyland Paris this year to see the show? My friends over at DLPReport have created this wonderful video on the show for you to enjoy in the comfort of your own home:
The return of Lion King: Rhythm of the Pridelands is just another step towards the “new normal” that we are likely to see in the Disney Parks for some time and part one of the return of the Festival of the Lion King and the Jungle. From 22nd August, guests will, once again, be able to swing with the Jungle Book Jive. These shows are expected to run well into the Autumn.
